Overview
Convolution LMS is a full-featured Learning Management System designed for an institute to manage online education through a centralized platform. It allows students to discover courses and learning paths, watch lesson videos, complete quizzes and assignments, track their learning progress, and earn verifiable certificates. The platform also supports paid courses through NPR-based payment methods such as eSewa, Khalti QR, and mobile banking, with payment verification handled by administrators.
The system provides separate functionality for students, instructors, and administrators, creating a complete workflow for delivering and managing online education. Instructors can create and organize courses, upload learning materials and YouTube videos, manage assignments, and monitor student performance, while administrators handle course approvals, payments, users, learning paths, reviews, newsletters, and institute settings. Technically, the application is built using Next.js, React, Prisma, PostgreSQL, better-auth, ImageKit, YouTube Data API, and SMTP, with deployment support for both Vercel/Supabase and Docker environments.

The Convolution LMS landing page is designed as the main entry point for the learning platform, giving visitors a clear overview of the institute and its online learning offerings. The top navigation provides quick access to Home, Courses, Roadmaps, and Instructors, along with Login and Signup options. The hero section uses the headline “Learn. Practice. Get certified.” to communicate the platform’s main purpose, supported by a short introduction and buttons for browsing courses and exploring roadmaps. Below the hero section, the landing page highlights featured courses using visually appealing course cards containing categories, course images, duration, student count, ratings, prices in NPR, and links to view individual courses. The page ends with a dark footer containing the Convolution LMS branding, navigation links, certificate verification, FAQ, contact and policy pages, along with a newsletter subscription section. Overall, the layout focuses on making course discovery simple while presenting the platform as a structured place for learning and certification.

The Courses page serves as the main course discovery and browsing section of Convolution LMS. It begins with a prominent “Courses from the live catalog” header that introduces visitors to the available learning content, along with highlighted course picks showing their titles and prices. Users can then search for courses, instructors, or topics and sort the results based on popularity. The page also provides both grid and list viewing options, making it easier for users to explore the catalog according to their preference. The main catalog displays individual course cards with category labels, course images, duration, number of students, ratings, and NPR pricing, along with links to view each course in detail. A dedicated filter panel allows users to narrow courses by category, level, and maximum price, while the catalog dynamically presents the matching results. The page concludes with the standard Convolution LMS footer, providing navigation links, certificate verification, support pages, and a newsletter subscription section.
